In California, a bill was sadly failed. This bill stated to BAN plastic bags form stores across California! The bill lost in a vote 21 to 14. To be honest, I personally don't think those odds were good because there wasn't a big enough serving size, or people counted in the vote. There was only 35 people out of the HUNDREDS in California! Now you may be thinking 'well what were they going to use without plastic bags?' They were actually going to use bio-degradable bags. I don't see why a person would have such a problem with this! I find it an AWESOME idea! I hope that other states try to pass this bill and not to get it denied by a small group of people. It was only the senate who voted but i feel the people, the citizens, should have a right to say what they think as much as the Senate does.
